About our work on the film: This feature documentary unveils a covert operation of the Second World War, kept secret in the archives of the British intelligence service.
This very demanding project called for a very original, true sound track. We invited musicians and singers who's everyday job is to perform music from the parts of the world the history of the film takes place in. We acquired original instruments in Casablanca we first had to... learn how to play on :-), before using them in the sound track. Among many interesting sounds you will find an instruments going by the mysterious name of OUD. The male vocal parts were performed by a star of the Kabyl music scene. Who? Let that remain a mystery for the moment :). The Soundtrack is made up of melodic themes, wide arabic timbers all wrapped by Kris's production work. |
